Thumbnail generation is based on the fastest STL viewer available. Folders full of STL files are no problem, and most STL thumbnails are generated as fast as those of JPG photos.

Papa’s Best STL Thumbnails installs for the current user by default. To install for all users on a system, open a command prompt or a PowerShell and run msiexec /i "Papas Best STL Thumbnails.msi" MSIINSTALLPERUSER="".

But the main point is to warn against obtaining keys through illegitimate sources. The high-quality activation key might refer to the key working perfectly, but in reality, fake keys can cause malware infections. So the blog should educate on that. Also, since the user might have a typo in "200+14", perhaps I should clarify that Kaspersky doesn't offer such a product and guide them to the correct product names. Maybe the activation key is for a business version with multiple licenses, but the user needs to contact sales for that. Maybe the activation key is for a business
Wait, the user wrote "200+14 activation key". Maybe they want to mention a specific version that came with multiple licenses? Like 200 licenses plus 14? That doesn't make sense either. Perhaps they mixed up numbers. Maybe it's supposed to be a volume license or business license with 200 users plus 14? But that's not a standard product name from Kaspersky. Or maybe it's a typo for Kaspersky Internet Security 2014? That's possible. If I proceed under the assumption that it's a version from 2014, I can mention that Kaspersky releases new versions annually, and older versions aren't recommended for current use. Clear your Explorer thumbnail cache (see above) or copy the file to a different location.
This is a bug in Windows 10 that also affects other thumbnails – for example transparent PNG images here and here.
I can’t do anything in my program to work around it, I’m afraid. Please use the Windows 10 feedback function to report this to Microsoft. If enough users do it, they may eventually fix it. Windows 7 does not have this bug.
